I would like to post my poetry and stories online to get hints and cretiques. How do I go about this?

sesshoumaru sama asked:

Hi, I would like to know if there are any trusted websites where I can at least get my stories out to be shared with others so that I may hear what others think of my writing. Where could I go for this? If anywhere how can I go about this? Who can I trust with my stories? Are there any publishers out there that are interested in tyro writers? Are there websites that I can share my ideas with others or yahoo clubs? I heard of The Creative Pen, is it a good site to trust in?
I would really like to get my Love poetry and others out to the net for not much really. I want to present myself to the poetry world in a good fashoin and allow my poetry to be noticed and read by others who are trust worthy. Please help!!

Look just below philosophy on the site map on the left with the highlight on Arts & Humanities.

Go to Arts and Humanities, Poetry - on this very site!
We will be glad to read your poems.

Don’t post them on this site, they can be easily stolen if it’s not copyrighted, plus theres no guarenteee youll get any good critiques here.
Sorry guys :P and I’m not sure about places to post it, I’ve been looking for awhile.

If you create an account and keep posting your writing there, people will read it and critique it. There are some really talented writers there who would be glad to give you an honest review.
You can’t really trust anybody not to copy your stories. If, you post your stories for strangers to read, there is always the danger that they might copy your work. But you may want to take that risk, as most people aren’t there to plagiarize, but write.

Hmm…I’m pretty sure has a copyright for everything that is put on their site, but it would probably be easy for someone to copy and paste your poetry, ignoring this. I trust it for my pictures, but they are only amateur and I’m not really protective of them. It depends on the weight of your situation - how badly you want to put your poetry out their, or how badly you want it to remain safe. You can get quite a few comments and feedback from this sight, but I’d just be concerned about the safety of your work… :)
