What do you think? I tried to get on the soccer team but I got cut :(.

sounds good, but you still have to be smart, if they see that and some good SAT and PSAT scores, your in.

Join a debate team and FBLA. Looks good on the app if you take a few awards.
Wealthy parents is the best way to get into Harvard…and don’t get too cocky with the good grades bit. “Extracurricular” is one word.
Colleges are looking for well-rounded people who are sincere in their pursuit of higher learning. All of these things look great on paper, but mean nothing if you’re just doing it for Harvard. Don’t be Harvard’s b****. Do what interests you, invest in your passions, strive for greatness…but f*** Harvard. This is your life.
the last 2 i things i think will help especially english tutor, so maybe
they are looking for activists, but most if not all applicants are president of class, community services and all those typical activities, if you want your application to stand out, you have to do something unique, something that really show who you are and what u have passion for.
These are generally good extracurriculars, but those are only considered if your GPA and SAT scores are very near perfect.
