The movies “the Number 23″ and “Fight Club”?

Old School Nintendo asked:


Do you think the writers of the Number 23 tried to immitate the tone of Fight Club?

Jim Carrey’s character seemed a lot like Edward Norton’s in Fight Club. They both play the average guy whos life sucks and then some event causes them to go crazy.

Did anyone notice the similarity, or was it just me?
By the way, what did you think of the Number 23? I only got to watch half of it.

    Fight Club was a MUCH better movie. The Number 23 pretty much sucked, you didn’t miss anything. And now that you mention it, there is some similarity. Fight Club was based on a book and was just extremely well done and original.
